Handwoven Scarf (24-11)

This stripey handwoven scarf is woven with sock yarn that is a blend of superwash merino wool and nylon, making it soft and squishy as well as warm and easy to care for (it can be machine washed if needed, though hand-washing will extend the life of the garment). The warp is in stripes of teal, lavender tweed, pink, red, chestnut brown, and darker and lighter teal mixed. (The darker teal almost looks like narrow brown stripes in the center stripe, which is interesting.) The weft is all the chestnut brown, an extra soft yarn!

The scarf is 11.5 inches wide and 57.5 inches long, plus fringe.
